(re-)look at your child.
ask what art is in there.
hand hold it.
the four greatest things you give as a parent for your child are,
1. character - which you do not by preaching but by your own conduct.
2. education - learning which you provide on seeing what kind of intelligence (howard gardner - multiple intelligence) your child dominantly is, and giving the best possible of that kind of learning.
standing on Socrate's shoulders, learning "is the ability and capacity to think & feel, context them & act".
3. aesthetics - expose the child to all art forms, to give that common 'experiencing' of that sense of aesthete in all of them, as the finest form of enjoyment, and as the gateway for the true spirituality.
4. spirituality - expose to spiritual experiences. a mountain-top, a lake-front, verdant woods, a gurgling brook, any sanctum...
look back to your own childhood.
ask your mom dad, what art you had then.
look into yourself, find it there.
bring it out again.
give yourself a great gift..
